Call Answered

The dreamy pink and blue colors were the first things I noticed, and the wavy font was practically gyrating off the page. A couple of weeks ago this flier caught my eye. It’s a ‘call for submissions’ for Med Intima, an online publication at the campus connected to the hospital where I work. Med Intima is “dedicated to community, creativity, and culture.” They also ‘commemorate the art and science of medicine.’ I submitted an original song about bad blood circulation in my feet and Vitamin E two days before the deadline.
