When I’m outnumbered and the day feels stacked against me – I light up my inner doobie & tune in some old reggae from The Ethiopians, The Melodians, Desmond Dekker, Toots and the Maytals.  Eventually, there’s nothing I can’t smile at.  The trials of the day get put in perspective… the impermanence of a bad exchange fades as I stop replaying it in my head. I can focus on gratitude instead.  To quote an 18th century mystic – “I can sing a prayer as well as say it.” - Baal Shem Tov
