The rain has been steadily falling all night and into the morning. I know at some point the chorus from my Winnie Pooh record is going to start singing “the rain rain rain came down down down…” Who am I kidding? They’ve already started singing it in my head. Time to save the honey!

Hallelujah’s in SW Mo the rain has finally stopped. Picnic with friends cancelled yesterday because of MORE rain. My watermelon drowned a couple of weeks ago after planting in the perfect spot and has been underwater almost daily ever since. Enough already.
My beans are burnt up, but the squash and tomatoes are surviving. Cold front today. 94.
