barney-miller-main-e1600483999716-1200x675Barney Miller was the first cop show in a drab setting that I remember on TV.  Back in the 1970′s Barney, Wojo, Fish and the gang always looked tired– but they still showed up for work every night.  Abe Vigoda NEVER smiled except for publicity shots like the one above.  It’s cool to watch this show again on YouTube when I’m done working and I feel a little tired myself.  Here’s a list of episodes.

    I recently watched the best movie, made for TV in 1997. TRUE WOMEN. Can’t believe I watched it 2 times in one week AND it has 2 parts 1 hr. each. Jenny may like it. The acting was so good, the story plot around 1897 or so, a strained relationship between 2 young girls while growing up and a very strong older sister who was so strong for so many while enduring her own pain and hardship. It sounds too serious but it really held my attention.
