my dad taught me how to play my first chords on the piano and the guitar. he showed me how to shift gears in a truck with a 3 speed on the tree. i could always count on dad to wake me up to watch the treasure of the sierra madre with him every time it was on tv. sometimes it wouldn’t air until 3am. happy birthday dad, i love you.

Thanks, son. Watch for me on June 30 on channel 38 in El Paso with the 1st Baptist and Fort Bliss army bands on cornet. I’ll be in the 1st Baptist band.
It will air at 8:00 El Paso time the week after (July 7th). I’ll try to send a portion of it. Abby tried sending the father’s day program, but it would’d go on my phone, and it was very scratchy.
