dad, i was just comparing her to andy kaufman. the audio is from maria bamford’s comedy routine. and yes, i do have a VHS tape of his TV special where he talks to howdy doody.

to quote charlie brown, “AAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHH!” the audio was about “joy-whack-a-mole” a game that her family plays when one person starts talking about something good that happened recently, and another family member finds a way to SMACK it down. example: she’s telling her dad how she got this really neat jacket for $10, and her dad responds “well you know, honey, you bought it so cheap because that jacket was made by slave labor! they just move the manufacturing plants to a third world country where they don’t have to pay the workers anything, and then they pass the savings on to you! that’s a really sweet jacket though.”

can’t get it to play. I get the arrow and triangle to touch to play but nothing happens. it all looks like it should work but it doesn’t.
