Dave!

Had to email. Was just listening to WFUV, while playing a therapeutic, mad mahjong marathon. Was just about to quit, when I heard they were going to have a live session with Dawes. They are my new favorite band. I would not have given it half a thought, but for your having me listen to "A Little Bit of Everything." They played it again, and it brought the tears again.

Thank you, thank you, for bringing me to them! I've put their CD on hold at the library (I'm #14 in line ;o)

I subscribed to your feed (? is that what it's called? I'm not sure how I access it, but it seemed the thing to do!) I listened to all the new sounds--"Electrocuted Sheep" is my favorite. I have a feeling there's a break-out sound somewhere down the line--a coalescence of cacophony that will zing the strings of one's spine. Stick with it!

I hope you & Jenny had the warmest & fullest of Thanksgivings. Please give her a hug for me!
